Reeder began with 11,500 head of stockers and Two Lakes owned 24,990 acres of land in Texas, New Mexico and Alabama. Alabama location started shipping 2 loads of cattle weekly to Texas.

Reeder began with 10,500 head of stockers and Two Lakes owned 24,530 acres of land in Texas, New Mexico and Alabama. Two Lakes purchased another 460 acres of land in Alabama. New Mexico location started shipping 1 load of cattle weekly to Texas.
- 2021
Reeder began with 10,000 head of stockers and Two Lakes owned 24,394 acres of land in Texas, New Mexico, and Alabama. Two Lakes purchased an additional 136 acres of land in Alabama, which runs contiguous to our Alabama operation. In June, construction of the Alabama infrastructure was completed and started receiving calves.

Reeder began with 10,000 head of stockers and Two Lakes owned 22,242 acres of land in Texas and New Mexico. Two Lakes purchased 1,600 acres of grass in January, which runs contiguous to our New Mexico operation. In June, Two Lakes purchased 552 acres of land in Russellville, AL.

Reeder began with 7,522 head of stockers and Two Lakes owned 20,946 acres of land in Texas and New Mexico. Two Lakes purchased 1,296 acres of grass land in April. 1,000 of those acres are contiguous to the main operation in Stratford, Texas.
- 2018
Reeder began with 6,539 head of stockers and Two Lakes owned 13,507 acres of land in Stratford, Texas and New Mexico. To keep growing the cattle operation, Two Lakes purchased 3,720 acres of farmland and 640 acres of grass near the main headquarters and 3,080 acres of grass contiguous to the New Mexico Ranch. Two large projects were completed: adding a sprinkler/water improvement project and a dual snake processing barn. The company began implementing the Micro Beef Technologies cattle software.
- 2017
Reeder had 5,049 head of stockers and Two Lakes owned 6,246 acres of land in Stratford, Texas. Two Lakes purchased 7,260 acres of grass in NE New Mexico. Due to a lack of available housing in the Stratford area, the company began providing affordable housing to employees.
The head office was relocated to the main location in Stratford, Texas.
- 2016
Darryl & Curtis decided to Go Big or Go Home! Reeder Cattle and Two Lakes Land & Cattle began a strategic 5-year growth plan. The idea was to create a scalable stocker program through growing the bulk of our feed and wheat, controlling our supply chain, re-tooling our processing protocols and plain Hard Work. Two Lakes purchased 4,820 acres of land located in Stratford, Texas, consisting of 2400 pen capacity, 4,215 acres of grass and 505 acres of farmland. During the year, the company started land improvements adding a 260-acre sprinkler, pens and related equipment.

Reeder ran around 1,500 to 2,000 head of stocker calves mostly on leased properties. Purchased 1,427 acres of land in Stratford, Texas.

Frustrated with lack of consistent performance, Darryl started feeding stocker calves in Texas.
- 1999- 2005
Darryl custom fed cattle at feedlots in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.
